There is a local food bank for the Pheasey area.
On Tuesday 18th October, we had our school Harvest Festival Assembly and celebrated the food that has been grown and safely gathered in. We thought about how important it is to say thank you for the farmers that grow our food, the people in the shops who sell food to us and the grown-ups that cook the food we eat. We were joined by Chris Lane, the vicar from Beacon Church and volunteers from Elim Life Church Foodbank who explained to the children what a foodbank was .
We would like to say a BIG thank you to all our families for their kind donations. We are overwhelmed by the response and your generosity.
If there are any of our families that feel they could benefit from the service Elim Church Foodbank offers, please contact Mrs Plant. Referrals can be made, confidentially, and parcels can then be collected.
